Largest arcade machine in the world

Largest arcade machine in the world

Remember the time when you were a small kid and looking up at the big arcade machine at the mall, willing to try playing the game? Well, Jason Camberis, 44, a Network Engineer from Chicago decided to allow the adults feel like they’re kids again. How? By building the largest arcade machine in the world, so big it makes you feel small again. The machine measures 4.41 meters (14 ft 5 in) height, 1.93 meters (6 ft 4 in) wide and 1.06 meters (3 ft 5 in) deep. Pretty impressive, isn’t it? Indeed. In fact this machine is 2.75 times bigger than a normal, old-school arcade machine. And for one to play there is a stair to climb and play one of the more than 200 games included. PacMan and Dragon Spirit among them.

Everything is amazing about this arcade machine, especially the giant buttons and the 16 inch glass track ball. Also the coins are big size, a surprize for those waiting in line to play some games. The experience must be tremendous while playing on this machine, take a look at the short movie below to discover how cool it is.

It’s interesting how Jason came to this idea: while watching the news on TV, all negative news, with a brilliant idea from Jason to try to make something that would make people smile and enjoy and remember the time they were young. Well, it’s indeed like traveling back in time at a different scale.

And Jason’s arcade machine is compatible with Wii, Xbox, Playstation and all PC games that can be loaded for such a small-big experience. Young kids and adults are invited to try the games on this extraordinary machine that stands against the trend of making the things smaller and smaller by keeping it Big.
